OUR UNCERTAINTY ~ A 3 11 ACROSTIC SONNET

BRIAN & I ~ Are as uncertain as everyone else about *LIFE AFTER COVID 19*  In the UK we have been given permission to meet People (1 to 1) but not complete liberty. We still have to keep six feet apart which will make the opening of Non-essential Shops - Restaurants & Pubs etc difficult & unnatural ! 

 

O UR ~ main concern about *Life after COVID 19* is

U NCERTAINTY ~ about the Global availability & cost of a VACCINE ~ WE

R ECOGNISE ~ without a VACCINE ~ COVID 19 will be uncontrollable !

 

U NCERTAINTY~  about the effectiveness of distancing still prevail 

N O ONE ~ really understands the RULES and the exceptions to them ~ WE

C AN ~ now meet our Families & Friends on a 1 to 1 basis IN or OUT !

E VERYONE ~ must  take responsibility to prevent the spread of COVID 19.

R EMEMBER ~ to carry a mask and always wear it on Public

T RANSPORT ~ and in TAXIS and the CARS of *strangers* 

A T WORK ~ it is the responsibility of MANAGEMENT to .......

I  MPLEMENT ~ Social Distancing (One jump or Two ?) also in

N EXT ~ and other large clothing stores ~ Changing Rooms will be closed !

T OILETS ~ will now be open !  Please remember that at all times

Y OU ~ are responsible for you own SAFETY & the SAFETY of others !

    Re safety: Well, in one job the manageress didn't bother to move from her desk, for a Fire Practice. She's indestructible, yes? But us lesser mortals had to clear the building.
    She was horrid - we couldn't care much if it was a real fire, and she burnt up! Well, not quite that uncaring - but what sort of example is that to staff?
    Erm, they did have the tempting thought to throw her out the window, when we were on the 1st Floor of premises.
