I’m Back (at least until my pen runs out of ink)

Accidental Poet

Yes, I’m back

Back from wherever I’ve been

Unsure where that was

But I’ve got my digital pen

Maybe it was writer’s block

That had me in its grip

Lyrical wheels run dry

My muse ill equipped

Gonna coax my muse

To keep those wheels greased

I’ll try to keep it clean

And not alert the word police

I might be a bit rusty

But I’m no rookie here

I’ve been writing now

Damn close to twenty years

I know I haven’t

Made an entry in quite a while

I pop in now and then

Whenever I need to smile

I miss conversing

Back and forth with you all

Hope you haven’t forgotten me

But now I’m back and overhauled

Don’t know if I’ll write

As often as I used to

But once a poet, always a poet

My motto until my time is due

Good to see you back AP, may your muse stay with for eternity.

As for the 'back rent' you have no need to worry until next week when I'll be round to collect it.

Good to hear from you too Andy. Aah, about that back rent, US currency? Or... : )

I never knew it was so long. Only seems about two months or so, not two years!
There's no rations on words - so waffle on! lol.

Orchi, you must have been busy with KP checking on her Botox. Now you've been waffled. ; )
