What's important right now is to see that other peoples lives matter. Not to be selfish. Not to be apathetic.
As a person who knows and works with people who are “mentally unwell” I can say that some people in the world just need reminded every so often how amazing they are.
Also this poem is from one person to another saying “YOUR life matters” is recognising the life of others. Which kinda makes your notion redundant.
