From a happy childhood
I somehow lost my way
never knew what I was doing
always lost for words to say.
It all started when
I was about fourteen
when I lost all my confidence
tried my best to not be seen.
They said I was quiet
just a little shy
but no one ever really knew
all the reasons why.
She'll find her self in high school
soon it will just click
as for a time when that would be
a time they could not pick.
She'll find herself in her twenties
no matter what the cost
but I worry now and every day
that I'll always be
lost.

A very common feeling. Confidence is an elusive quality. I know the feeling very well. I think part of the problem is we feel we need someone to show us the way. But in reality, I think we find confidence when we choose our own way by following our heart. At least, that's what seems right for me. I hope you find the same. Great write KK.
Thank you for your kind words 😇
