I suppose it’s no wonder
That a camera appeals to me
With thoughtful images
It speaks poetically
And within my heart
A poetic ear
Through the lens of my eyes
A visual story I hear
Upon the morning stage
The performance of sunrise
Played out with such compassion
The magic right before my eyes
Same as on my camera
And the lens I’m cleaning
I must keep my heart open
To see life’s intricate meaning
Of life’s architect
Many a question I’ve asked
Of which in turn
The answers are now my task
Rightfully so, I was told
“I could tell you”
After a brief pause
“It’s better that I show you”
Look and you shall see
That which is there
But take a closer look
Of that which holds your stare
For only with an open heart
Will you see the truth
Your inner detective
The all seeing sleuth
Life is a gift
Do with it as you will
Look for the smile in your heart
Generously let it fill
So keep your heart open
Avoid preventable strife
Use your time wisely
Cleaning the lens of life

Couldn’t have said it better my self. Face the world with an open heart and open mind if you truly want to live life to the fullest. A powerful message beautifully written.
