te iubesc

siranswerer

i had fallen in love again.
to the point where, i got her initial,
tattooed on my skin.

i broke my heart again,
the loss so devastating,
her name is a sin.

she called me "my love", or "sunlight",
one of the many names we had,
i called her "puppy", and "moonlight".

the headiness, the brain chemical burn,
do you remember your first love?
where your heart and stomach churn?

it was worse.
together, too fleeting,
time was a curse.

too different.
too far apart.
the end, so insistent.

my hearts now armor clad.
words once spoken,
gone, a fad.

what a mess.
when someone says.
te iubesc.
