JUDGING BY THE PHOTO ~ IT TURNED INTO A BRUNCH !
This is not the actual event its only 9:30am ~ this is after 4th July !
OUR CHURCH COFFEE MORNING ~ A weekly event
Im in work by EIGHT ~ so I never went
Kaffe und Kucken each Thursday @ TEN
Ladies - with their Babies - and retired Old Men !
When the LOCKDOWN started ~ I was all aglow
To the Church Coffee Morning ~ I could NOW GO !
But for the last twelve weeks ~ imagine l my GLOOM
NO Kaffe und Kucken ~ just Girl Talk on ZOOM !
ZOOM is great for PRAYIN* and sharin* GODS WORD
But to Me *ZOOM Coffee Morning* ~ seems really absurd !
You cant smell the Coffee ~ You cant eat the Cakes
Coffee Morning - on ZOOM - a travesty makes !
BUT - this morning by e-mail (Im up with the lark)
It said *Church Coffee Morning ~ will be in the PARK !*
Bring you own drink ~ bring your own Chair
But the Cookies & Strudel ~ will all be there !
You cant hold me back ~ I just cant wait
When its TEN AM ~ I*ll be outa ma Gate
Thank GOD for email ~ Ive had early warning
Come to the PARK for chill out COFFEE MORNING ~ AMEN !

I should point out that the *PARK* is the Recreation Ground - next to the Church. We have permission from the Council to Hold Church Fetes & Open days etc etc. The Elders checked that it was OK and of course we will all obey the SIX FOOT rule ~ except for Family Groups. Also one cant wear a MASK while eating & drinking ! After the FOURTH OF JULY 2020 ~ We will resume normal Church Services (three feet apart) and al-fresco Coffee Mornings ~ but alas NO SINGING ! Love to ALL ~ Brian & Angela & Smokey !

Erm, yes, though I turned up at the Bereavement Morning Group - did I?! Not so jolly, but a useful outreach really.

GOOD AFTERNOON UNCLE STEVE ~ Another scortcher in Essex ! Fortunately Angela has the AQUATHERAPY POOL to cool off in ! WE all make mstakes ! I know FIDO would not let you watch Mrs Browns Boys ~ but one of the funniest episodes is when se turns up at the PUB in an outrageous costiue thinking its a HEN NIGHT and it turns out to be a WAKE !!!!!!!!!!
A Dozen turned up for the Al Fresco C Morning good crac (conversation) !
