Two Paths

John McChord

Two paths

Two paths diverged

An age ago I became the traveler

And like the road I too wanted wear

The grass trodden down prior to my wandering

Trodden by leaves some time before

These leaves, though decayed withstood,

But the fairest weather and nothing more

And I the traveler of the road

Much like the grass

Well-

The difference has been made

By wanting the wear

And worn, and worn, I shall be

And I celebrate the road diverged

My reaction in terms of feeling in regards to this...is, to honour it.

I like what the poet has to say about it.
