Unaccompanied isolation

Narcisa

One slip you better watch your step, because when you take a look at what's holding you back you'll see that there's really nothing left

You're all you got in this life

You can still drown in a river of blood

Don't lose all rationality in the name of love

The facts are nothing in this life matters more than money, life is a endless race and you just have to keep running

No one is going to be there for you when your 15 and you find out your boyfriend has been shot

Don't put your life on hold for some one who doesn't appreciate you when you give everything you got

No one is going to hold your hand when mommy and daddy don't have the finances for a stable life

And just when you feel the chains of greed wrapping around your throat, that's when they'll smell your vulnerability and then question you for your hostility

No one is going to be there for you when your mom is diagnosed with cancer and you pray to god that when you wake up it's you instead

In fact people will only temporarily care when some one is dead

No one is going to be there when your best friend commits suicide and the only thing that's on repeat in your mind is

"Hmmm... I wonder... if I was there to save his life would it have cost me mine?"

You're the carrier of your own pain

The truth is friends are there for you when its all fun and games

Good thing we always have family right?

Family is beautiful and unconditional love is rare, so how come I feel so lonely when I tell them that I'm scared?

Is that why people jump into relationships? Or is it just because no matter how hard we try to stop it,

those two hands on the clock are always going to tick and tock?

When shit hits the fan they have their own pain to bury, they don't need your pain as an extra burden to carry

It doesn't matter if you living your life for them

They only want to see them self win

The truth is you're all you got

If you don't have your own back then the child you made all those broken promises to just watches you slowly rot

And when there's nothing left?

Well at least we can wait on that direct deposit to hit, turn our back to those in need and worry about the big mans greed.

If this is a personal reflection of your own life, I’m really sorry about your boyfriend, your mother, and the loss of your closest friend. You express your pain beautifully
