My destiny

Imaginative dreamer

Heart racing, am I in a dream? could this be?

This happens on tv, not to ME

trying to stay calm

while inside I scream

My mom was right

She warned me

How stupid can I be

Walking through the mall

Wanting to be unseen

Closing the door to the bathroom stall

Something inside tells me it’s true

I’m just a kid, a teen

As I look, i am faced with the truth

POSITIVE

As I am overcome with fear

My face covered in tears

I’ve never felt so alone

SCARED

I have to do this on my own

I accept

This is real

I have to be prepared

You are mine

This is reality

It will all be fine

I will do whatever is necessary

Because you my sweet child

You are my destiny
