A NONET is a nine-line Poem in which each line increases by ONE SYLLABLE. If centered the words should be chosen to form a PYRAMID ! In a Mirror Nonet you repeat all the lines in reverse order except line NINE which is only used once. If centered it should be a DIAMOND. The shape is a tribute to BRIAN who is a *Diamond Geezer* ! I apologise to all those who dont like CAPITALS in Poetry ~ but it does give a much more compact shape. You ask me how I know so much about FORM & FUNCTION in Poetry ? I asked Me Husband ! Diamond-bright reasons for loving a man who works well wherever he can............ I agree that Pam Ayers gives a great performance - must listen again to her amazing rhyming.
Good Sunday FAY - Angela here. Thanks for your encouraging comments. Being a Scientist BRIAN is very neat & tidy. So he treats our kitchen like a Lab and makes sure everything is washed and packaged hygienically and back in its place. When we attens *Salmonella Buffets* he is always covering the food left exposed to microbes etc. He also has the garden pristine and oils his tools after use etc etc.
For Us Pam Ayres is the ultimate *Performance Poet* we can all learn much from her about Rhyme & Rhythm and dialect (Oxfordshire ?) Poetry. We had a nice chat with her last time she was in Essex. She is happy for People to tinker with her Poetry as long as we attribute it to Her.
