Dear M

benevolentbluebabe

Whispers of fallen light

shroud your soft complexion

and plain, it must have shown,

my unmistakable affection,

for on catching sight,

of a countenance enraptured,

your attention had been captured—

you queried the sweetest words,

as a summer breeze in late September.

"How long, my love, whilst thou remember"

And, to which, I'll always say,

"in perpetuum et unum diem—

forever and one day."

Latin! Tho there are certainly some derivatives there, as French is a romance language : )
