Dimittere

Roselyn

the suspense

its killing me

no,

mocking me

the promises,

whisper through my memory

fading with each passing day

each disappointing moment

is its demise

my mind wanders to a better time

a time where i could feel the warmth of the sun

a time when the moon lit the night sky

moments of serenity

moments of deep love

brief moments

fleeting moments

but all beings must come to an end

and that is where i find my Peace.

A relationship which is not comfortable can be traumatic and when it ends you are released to be yourself again. Comfortable with your own wants, desires, hopes and enjoyments.
I find all this in your words today.

    • Roselyn

Absolutely! a deep love that turned into a deep sorrow and when released one found inner tranquility
