The Burning Sun

Roselyn

what is it like to see the sun?

i mean really see it

what is it like to feel it burning on your skin?

does it hurt?

how bad?

does it touch you like i did?

i hope so.

i can already see the scar its leaving on you

which scar is worse?

and i hope when you see the sun

i mean really see it

that it will blind your eyes

those eyes..

burning on my skin

except for me there will be no scarring

you see the sun and I, we have an

understanding

a conversation for another time

where time is endless

where love is unbroken

so now i ask you

Dear Sun,

how bright will you shine for me?
