Tanged and bittersweet
In sunshine, under clouds
'neath a solid oak we meet
On heavy wool our love abounds
On blankets in the shade
A simple sonorous song I heard:
What of looks and lines that blurred—
I'd tell you, love,
If you're a bird,
I'm a bird.

Very beautiful and very intriguing. Almost mysterious but comforting. I love this poem!
