Mi Amor

benevolentbluebabe

"Amor vincit omnia".
A passing phrase, of loves
of dreamings and seemings
known only in heaven above.

Three words to wake the heart,
to break apart
ghastly visions on nights, turned cold,
when love is hard to hold.

So in waking dreams of hurt and horror,
nights of longing and insomnia,
I must trust in a single, simple truth;
"amor vincit omnia".

    Indeed love conquers all and teaches us more and more about love itself.

    Once discovered, it can be addictive (not referring to romantic love here) but where's the harm in that?
