Song, Believing in Jesus

Stood there boldly believing in God’s Son,

Love flowing as Jesus has already won,

Height of His returning; Faith in what’s to come,

Watching without sleeping the calling of us Home,

Because He’s my Rock!

 

I was a believer because of His tender care,

Going all in without anything left to spare,

Leaving this Earth is what he means for me,

Life spent with God is what I want to see,

Because He’s my Rock!

 

His hold on me was steady eyes so clear and bright,

Walk in Jesus has purpose ever so lovingly light,

Holding firmly in what is clearly Lovingly right,

Being bathed in all of His firelight,

Because He’s my Rock!

 

He’s my Rock; that’s why I’m strong as even He,

He’s my Rock; World’s not ever getting to me,

He’s my Rock; best ever in my life for all to see,

He’s my Rock; carrying all the weight,

He’s my Rock; as in the one and only gate,

 

When we’re in God’s Kingdom because of His one and only true Son,

Living and Loving as Jesus finished it; in All has been said and done,

His Body and Holy Blood covered our lives and the case is won,

We will praise Him from all ends of the Kingdom until forever comes,

Because He’s my Rock,

Oh He’s my Rock.
