that filled us with Glee

your on screen presence
dominate the stage
your sassy, cheeky comments
as you acted out the rage
of a high school teen girl
who was in to high school cheer
but something else made you happy
and you held it dear
it was to sing and dance
and live out your dream
so you made the choice
to join another team
it brought you to us
your adoring fans at home
you made the lonely hearts
not feel so alone
your smile was bright
your voice was strong
we send you away
with the words of a love song
your talent, beauty and passion
again we will never see
today we mourne you
cause the day we lost you
was the day we lost the glee.
