Lavender

benevolentbluebabe

The day does wane in blooming pastel,

holding within the colors of lilac fair,

a sprig of lavender hides amidst the dell,

whilst night bird song fills the air.

Clutched in green and dusted with blush,

under skies of parting embers,

a beauty so subtle, fluid, and lush,

that even the night remembers.
