Blue Sugar

A-A-A

2 hands
4 feet
One right
No wrong
I am not blameless
I am not blameless
As the years tik by
I am not blameless
First love
I am not a victim but I am not to blame
I am not a victim but u am not to blame
Reconnect
I am a victim and I am not to blame
But neither are you
Are you?
Intoxicating youth and summer air can pollute the most stoic of minds
Steering us towards the heavy breathing
The wet
The warm
The return
The drousy summer warm
Are we the victim?
Not we, though
Maybe us?
Realise
No us
Never us
Never together
Never joined in experience
Not linked by sensation or by condition
Time placed us together
Asked you to force a bridge
So if not us, who?
This quadrant of bridges, unfinished
Are we all us?
Or
Are we victims?
