Angela & I have put ours on hold until 2021 rather than risk it this Year ! However millions of Brits have hit on a cheaper no-fly option ! I C E L A N D ! No No No ! I dont mean the Country of Hot Lakes & Volcanoes ~ I mean *ICELAND The Frozen Food Outlet* in your Shopping Mall ! Two of the Joys of Foreign Travel are the Cuisine & the Plonk ! Go to *Iceland* choose your Country and the deep-freeze baskets and the Booze Section will do the rest ~ AMEN. Light the Barbie ~ Chill the Wine ~ Deck Chairs & Parasols & Paddling Pool in the Garden and to square the Circle ask Alexa to Play some Foreign Music ~ OLE ! ENJOY ~ Your Foreign Holiday for a week @ 1O% the cost ! A survey showed the top eight Countries whose Frozen Food we are buying ~ O La La !

Waitrose shoppers seem to always be on the gin, going by their free waffly newspaper each week. The articles in there are so spiffing!
Thanks Uncle Steve ~ Covid has made us all Money Conscious ~ If we want value for money we go to ALDI ! I doubt if one could do ones weekly Grocery Shop at Poundland ! Most of their items are NOT Edible ! Waitrose is the choice of Upper & Upper Middle Classes like Boris ~ OK

Good Afternoon Diane ~ Angela here - I get confused as well ! Thanks for your objective critique ! BRIAN tells me that MODERN POETRY is any collection of Words in any order ! So by that Definition this is a GREAT MOERN POEM ~ Because it does have Structure and a Subject. Brian loves lists and tries to turn them into *POEMS* by giving a list Rhyme & Rhythm ~ This one does have Rhythm & Reason ~ But no rhyme ! Our POEMS are colaborations and when He showed me the list I promised a *Street Food Map of Europe* and I video on Spain because I have a Spanish Papa who is a Wine Merchant for RIOJA Wines ! So we put it together and I added the intro about creating a European Holiday in your own backyard from the Supamarket ! See it all makes sense if you know its Provenance ! The *Modern Poem* is acctually the NINE line list ~ Starting with ITALIAN - and ending with - OK
As well as intriguing & amusing - the other thing a POEM should do is INFORM and this POEM sure does that - OK !

Angela, I just saw your description of modern poetry as being any collection of Words in any order ! .... erm. Who ever taught you that did a bad job. If you actually believe that phrase to be factual then i can begin to understand one or two things about your posts. Even the shopping list you posted today - which can't be classed as poetry in the classical style so i guess it must be modern poetry - is hardly a any collection of Words in any order ! Though I do see DianeKey6's point when she remarks - I think you forgot the poem.
