Tall Grasses

sylviasearcher

As summer fills the barren floor
Either side of my well trodden road
I shift my eyes
Side to side
Sensing the breeze
Making waves as it whispers
Into the vacant spaces
That fall between
Everything
And
Nothing

Beckoning me to feel my heaviness
And descend in a heap, amidst summer’s inevitability
I float my feet
And descend dirt deep
Becoming the reeds
Swaying soft as I murmur
Into the hopeless spaces
That linger endless
Forever
And
Nevermore

Rooted in my resting place
Hidden brief from my self-soiled soul
I drift away
Whilst I stay
Sensing the dirts
Singing as they reincarnate
Into the black of healing
Precisely punctuated
Believing
And
Unbelieving

Yay, for in what form will reincarnation be, and where, when? For it is a huge theory to conjecture.

Physically though reincarnation is plain to see for out physical being returns to the carbon of the environment only to manifest again as a part of who knows how many different carbon based existences.

A very thought provoking read from you.
