Beyond Giving
Here darling
…….. I brought you these
A mirror
……………….. See
And some pretty lace
…………………………… Oh’ plus a bowl of fruit
You may ripen on
……………………… Your window sill through summer
Just in case
………………… Now you have everything,
It seems
Except the time
You need
To ease your ego, safely out of immaturity
……………………. And that, is far beyond my giving …

Yes easing an ego out of the way to find more maturity takes personal effort as this straight reminder shows --- exceptionally perceptive these few lines my friend.
Bless ya our Lady Fay... I gotta dash my friend, otherwise I would linger and lose myself in words.... got a plane to catch............... x
No worries about the lost words but wishing you safest of journeys dear Neville - - come back safe and well...................x
No, you cannot gift life's experiences and the school of hard knocks. Indeed it would be painful to witness.
Such things are for the individual as if life were a clay pot in which they mature at their own pace, some in a sunnier spot than others.
You sure know how to exercise my grey cells which I find thoroughly enjoyable.
Much appreciated DA and I do mean MUCH... Cheers
Neville
