OK so I work in Education so I should understand whats going on and the implications. A lot of the ANGST is about A-level Grades (Highers in Scotland) and coveted University Places ! Only a very small minority are privileged enough to Go to Public Schools & Oxbridge and end up like Boris ! I wouldnt want my Kids to end up like that ~ Id rather them be useful members of the Community as Teachers ~ Nurses ~ Engineers ~ Caterers ~ Librarians etc etc. Most of my Students are on Vocational Courses ~ FT & Day Release ~ Caterers ~ Beauticians ~ Engineers ~ Pre-Nursing etc etc. They are assessed mainly bu *continuous assessment* so we know where they are *academically* at any point in time ! Im not in favour of *One Size Fits All Exams* I was an FE Governor of a School in a poor Catchment Area with 25 % Statemented Kids and we had to sit the same GCSE Exams as the few anachronistic Grammar Schools left in Essex. My School always peaked on the Ds so it was considered by Essex EA to be *failing* ! It eventually closed due to lack of parental support ~ who wanted to send their kids to a neighbouring COMP which had been granted a Sixth Form. I wont say anything about PUBLIC (PRIVATE) SCHOOLS & A-levels because I dont swear in PUBLIC ! Love & Peace to All ~ BRIAN & ANGELA 💛💛💛💛💛💛💛

Why do we all learn French, to at least some level, if we're never planning on going there?! Doh! Bonjour - bit of German there.
And - we need vets - for Fido and Smokey! Hope they won't need them often though.
Thanks Unsub. Yes, useful to learn French then. But I might not want to go to any of those over 29 countries! (Note to self: Do shut up Orchi! lol).
If I learn more French (I know some) it will be dangerous. I would sing more, except for the restriction!
Yes each child is gifted with something special and that is enough or should be when parents aid in confidence with home nurturing .......... exam results are never the be all and end all.
Angela Here - It is True FAY every child is gifted ~ its just a question f finding their GIFT ! The Pracical side of PHYSIO is much more important than the THEORY. Being able to massage & manipulate another persons almst naked body (irrespective of Age - Gender - Race etc) is made up of many individual GIFTS and interpersonal skils. To be a good PHYSIO you have to possess at least ~ half of them. Sensitive Tactility is the KEY SKILL ! Possessing most of the Key Skills makse me not only a good *Hands on Physio* but also a good *Hands on Tutor* !
