Judith

siranswerer

i once fell in love with a girl,
because when she danced,
she moved like a snake.
her body writhed in moonlight for me.
she sang jazz, and i wrote riffs about and for her.
she was sexy, and flirtatious,
some of the things she made me do,
were outrageous.
we were a brief candle burn,
i cant even remember now what happened,
she was just one of the girls in the churn.
i saw her today,
with a babe in a papoose,
and her hair was grey.
she had a mask on her face,
but i knew it was her.
her eyes unmistakable, and she still walked with grace.
like she was dancing.
i had to stop.
i was amazed in the moment, so many reasons,
to make my jaw drop.
i hope she recognised me, as i her.
to see the past walk passed.
i once fell in love with a girl,
called Judith.
