To Begin Again

Tayama

Eyes wide open in nature, closes eyes to the darkness...

Hearts wide open to love, repairs hearts scared by neglect...

Lips that kiss with compassion, heal lips that kiss back in despair...

Ears open to the stillness, never hear the noise...

Fingers that caress with gentleness, gently caress skin the no longer withers...

Hugs that hold with dignity, embrace the sadness away...

Whispers of grace in the ears of the despised, blend a melody of worthiness...

Hands held to comfort, fuses skin that mends...

A memory created, remembers why...

That a life lived alive, transcends to a death of peace...

To then begin again, as God creates another masterpiece...
