Poem, Milk or Meat?

AwHec8

Who is beyond milk & cookies?

Ready to go all in on the meat of what is in the Biblical Narrative.

And not to be just plain old looky’s?

For 1 example of what is not only said but also done.

Jesus held His services on a hilltop & that is how it all begun.

No Not in a fancy decked out building of materialistic glory.

Under God’s clear sky on a ground of rocky green grass & that is the story.

First was a meal of fish & bread (maybe some honey) to feed the body.

No even by past time standards was it thought of as being at all gaudy.

Once the faithful ones to be taught were of the body fed.

Christ turned to them to preach a New Testament & this is what He said.

Love your enemy, pray for them, no not hate or curse them do what I am showing you instead.

Now all that I ask of you is to pass this treasure onto all the People & that is how Christ’s message was spread.

Not once can you see where in His Church do collections happen, yet what do we see in how People in the church now are bled.

Selling Christ on a Cross for money as if that is the Mammon to be had.

Like a snake oil salesman from times past of gaslighters, that shows how fallen we are & that is quite bad!

So I say use your gifts of the mind knowledge, wisdom, understanding of proving a given idea or movement or fad.

This is what God Himself says we are allowed to do to Prove even Him, No Not Test Him as that would be taking it too far just a tad!

  • Comment from author about the poem: It breaks the heart to see someone try to make money off of certain sacred things in Life. I see how the USA has become nothing less than a store that is selling goods, whether it is special like selling Life giving blood to save a Human Being or having knowledge that is sold to save a soul. Like Babylon in days of old even People are for sale or at the very least their own souls, here in the USA!
