As Far as You and I Go

JWKP98

It won’t change anything, but I regret it all

I was always low and because of that, you’re the one who took the fall

I dragged you down when you tried to help me up, I’ve never been in more pain, never been more humiliated, never felt so small

And I hate myself for being in pain because I can’t imagine how much more you must’ve been in when I pushed you to the wall

Just one more time and never again, listen as I apologize and assure you, for your help or care, I will never again call

My own actions pushed you away, I destroyed my heart

I used to hope we could over again start,

But I care too much to see the black stain that I am smear what you are, a masterpiece of art

As far as you and I go, all I want now is to be able to see your face without pain on me being impart,

As far as you and I go, all I want now is to be able to hear your voice without falling apart
