Audax

Amare Dulcis

You’re my first thought in the morning,

One that I linger onto while missing,

The smile that captivates my soul,

Reeling me from this dark and demented hole,

To believe what I find to be true,

Those feelings that never go blue,

In a radiating pulse,

Seeking nothing false,

From hearts undaunted,

As dreams run enchanted,

Taking life beyond remorse,

Onto a beautiful course,

Towards a realm like no other,

Where we walk on together,

Kissing beneath a moon of roses,

Baring a love that imposes,

An awareness of purity,

Set free from obscurity.

May that obscurity be forever undone and you go forward together in joy and love.

    A fine write Audax.

reads like a rhythmically cascading journey of self-discovery,
for in choosing to love another: we first get a true glimpse of ourselves, through our reflection in their eyes:
    'Baring a love that imposes,
    An awareness of purity,
    Set free from obscurity.'
hope you have a refreshing break
