Flower Dust

Gary Edward Geraci

Black mulch is better

It gets blacker when

It’s wetter the black

Ground backdrop becomes

Fused to the fuchsia

Flower dust where the

Eruption of a verdure

Emerald fern mound

Is punctuation

For a well crafted

Creation sentence

Whispered by our Lord.

    Good write Gary.
Erm, we was rain-soaked early this year in the UK. I did a walk - fields had turned to lakes.
I never knew there was so much poeticisim in mould. Well, I knows now, and Alexander Fleming discovered penicillin through it - a genius!

You know me O - inspired by the mundane and bathetic (meant to use a derivative of “the bathos” there but after looking up ‘bathetic’ I found it even more appropriate - sometimes the spelling of words the computer thinks you’re trying to spell are gold nuggets ).
