It's a long night till morning,
Dream breasted, shadow stalked.
Arid lips salt sweated.
Laughter, dreams, and horror
Dawn faded long.
Dreamless sleep’s dark nightmare
Now haunts my withered days.

Insomnia rules!
You got it.
'It's a long night till morning,
Dream breasted, shadow stalked.'
what an opening!
brilliant imagery and infused with natural dramatics, forcing readers to re-read and contemplate the layers in its meaning
Thank you
Admirable opening on a description of insomnia which filled with good metaphor needs reading again - so into my faves with this Endless Daze Sweaty Nights - -- very well captured Trenz
