The Uneducated O.A.P

No More Singing

We don't hear that song anymore

That song, that was sung

Over the telephone

4 times a year

Badly out of tune

Followed by giggles

Laughter and love

For each member of our family

They were in their nineties

But they tried their best

Dad passed away last Christmas

So we don't hear that song

That happy birthday song

We don't hear it

Anymore.

We can speak, but not sing in churches at present. I know they all say 'Hooray' cos they don't hear me now! lol.

Thanks Andy, may your croquet balls stop in the right place.

      Bill,

No need to not sing it on his birthday. If you believe in spirit or soul then he will hear it. Never forgotten. Just thank yourself Orchi isn’t in your family; then you’ll all dread that song!! Lol! Apologies Orchi, couldn’t resist it!

      Unsub.

        Thanks Unsub.
Leave that poor orchi alone, he's boosting the local economy, they're doing a roaring trade, in ear defenders! Apologies from me too orch!
