Pray for those,
hurting in this world.
Pray for the forgotten,
neglected boys and girls.
Pray for those in prison,
or on the streets,
who no one considers.
Pray for the old and elderly,
who are weak and withered.
Pray for our soldiers,
at home and overseas.
Pray that the Lord,
helps our our leaders to lead.
Pray for the sick,
that the Lord gives them care,
and that they have reassurance,
that Christ holds them near.
Pray that Christ reaches,
to the smallest third world nations,
but most importantly,
we must pray for our salvation.

- Comment from author about the poem: I wrote this piece because I found out that, someone who I truely love more than anybody else, my butterfly, her mother is sick at the moment. I am deliberately not being specific in mentioning who. Whether it is a cold, C-19, or cancer, we must pray for those who are sick, and know that God can heal anyone of anything. There is real power in prayer. Persistence is key
