Even the rich die

BoxMyHeart

I dreamt that I woke with an empty head

no concerns, for what it was worth

or how i held together my own mind

or how i forgot to laugh sometimes

I woke to find my dream house

in the middle of a storm

I woke to find my favourite items

split all over the fioor

we cant predict the future

no more than we can change it

i used this to my advantage

cause dreams are made for chasin'

I woke to find my relatives older than before

life had shook them up a bit

they grew weary in the storm

winds are slapping up the waves

I woke to find my bestfriend married

without even an invite to say

i know that've been busy

but does that take my good deeds away?

we cant predict the future

no more than we can change it

i used this to my advantage

cause dreams are made for chasin'

when i woke up from my waking dream

I found I still had everything

except the money, clothes and cars

i still had my family and my art

and i believe

we cant predict the future

no more than we can change it

i used this to my advantage

cause dreams are made for chasin'
