The Kingdom

Crowns4Christ

The kingdom awaits for those who believe*the love of the lord is what we receive**He is waiting for us with his arms open wide*to lead us to the Father, with whom in the kingdom we will reside**on the streets of gold we will walk upon every day*to honor our Lord, love and respect to him we will pay**The kingdom of God is where my future will lead*The Salvation of God is what we all truly need**

My love, this is a great piece. It is so true. I long for the day to be in perfect glory and live in God's kingdom.
Can you imagine: owning your own custom made mansion?

Are you serious..I can tell you are still very young Jesus was a rabbi and all rabbis have wifes and children Im a Catholic I was brought up taught to believe in heaven and hell and to be afraid.. that purgatory was where our souls went first and only prayers from loved ones o earth freed us from the fire of hell .in the bible it says many things . God's many houses.
Did God write the bible Did Jesus write the bible. No.
And most important..its says go quietly and pray and god will listen and you will receive your reward in full
Do not be like the hypocrites standing on the corners for all to see what they are doing tgey too will receive their rewards in full
So to spend every part of your day preaching through social.media with many words about love our Lord.. people too will recieve their rewards in full
You should be quiet and read
About the true saints of the world how they suffered and had no riches .st Teresa st Bernadette st Francis st Patrick ; going through life trying to avoid suffering and pain trying not to make mistakes
And only to hope to be in the kingdom of God at end of life
      Nonsense.!!
There are many many opinions of what happened at
      Crucifixion and in my faith
It was that Jesus died on the cross to save us from.sin
Who saw him dying on the cross ?
Many were too far awsy to see that he died and why was his body missing from.the tomb.. claiming he rose again.
IN FRANCE a priest fround a tomb claiming it was mary Magdalene and the bloodline of Jesus he told the Vatican and suddenly he was very rich was able to build a big church it was said he was blackmailing the Vatican
The Vatican hold secrets thats been proved. Sister Lucia from.fatima who was one of tge 3 children to have seen a vision in 1917 wtote a letter its held by the Vatican
In her book it said she and her cousins saw Mary a bright shining light . Or was it the sun blinding them while shepherding on the hillside.
Every one has a faith and thats important to cope in the world . But to breathe every minute of every day about heaven and its kingdom only stops you living the only life you have on earth .As if we are to think less of this life and more of the unknown after we die. I watched my very holy mother die from Alzimers prayed all her life lived for hail Mary\\\'s and our father\\\'s I hope she got to be at his side I really do.
Then I think of the holocaust
Why did visions not appear in such a terrible place all the prayers didn\\\'t stop those poor humans being gased to death
Where was the kingdom of God for them .

All scriptures is breathed out by God. He might not have physically written the Bible, but He instructed those who did.

I believe in god. But all this rhetoric about kingdoms and old fashioned language is a load of bunkum. God doesn't need us to do anything other than follow the ten commandments in spirit and be good people to one another.

People who have to preach through their postings on here and elsewhere are really only doing it to mask their own insecurity. People with a sincere and genuine belief have no need to post religious rhetoric.

Judging by the amount of people who actually comment upon posts by such poets as forever jesus6 (who ought to use a spelling checker before posting) and others of a similar vein it is clear that their poetry is posted really only to reassure themselves of their belief and not for the perusal or consideration of other poets because not many are interested enough in the same old rhetoric again and again - hence the low numbers of comments left for their posts.

Clearly, persistence isn't working is it.

it's called faith and sharing what we feel in our hearts.and as for my husband, everybody makes spelling errors persistence is always key

My friend, you just said the total opposite of the truth.
We do not get into Heaven by our good works. It is not the ten commandments that get us into Heaven. We are no longer under the ten or any of the commandments. That is because Christ died for our sins. We are saved through Christ's blood on the cross. We do not live by all the commandments anymore. We are saved through Christ's love for us. That is why we preach (spread the Gospel) (the good news).
Believe me. NO ONE is more secure than those who believe in Christ Jesus.
            Persistence is key

and clearly persistence is working because despite how much you 'disagree' with Christ Jesus, you still respond to positive comments about him.
I think you do agree with me. I think your spirit is really fighting with yourself.

            A true write blue.
This is true, apart from the entanglements of man has sometimes (or often?) made it, in the name of 'religion'.
I'm in a Middle Ages and Reformation Book. Some ghastly things - wars, even burning clergy, Archbishops even, in the name of 'religion'. It drew hundreds of ghouls to see the spectacles.

            • dusk arising

Yes Orchi, the early christian church killed people for disagreeing with them (a bit like some Islamists do still) and of course poor old Galileo was imprisoned and given the title of 'Heretic' for 300 years just for proving the world was round. Christians insisted the world was flat u see..... but still some christians are blind to reality.... is persistence your key?

              • orchidee

Erm, yes, persistence is needed, as one key, I believe.
There's bigotry, arrogance, etc in 'religion' too. I heard a story. A pacifist said: 'I'm a man of peace; and any one who disagrees with me will get a punch on the nose!'
Meanwhile - Yes, I thought the world was round, then I fell off the eeeeeeedddddge. It must have been flat then. Good acting there, innit?! lol.

Blue, I respect your assurance and viewpoint, and the urge to sing it out. But it lacks a certain humility and humanity now and then. Not a criticism, but an observation as to why it may engender such strong reactions! Peace to us all!
