My Catacomb

PoeticBiscuit

My life is a catacomb where potential wastes away.

Whispers of fear and doubt, I believe what they say.

A place where the sun doesn’t reach and we never met,

Any glimmer of hope is to be put out like a cigarette.

Here lies my future which once held everything,

Until I gave Anxiety a diamond ring.

Wow you express in such creative metaphors and similes all so poetic and wonderful to read of and though many feel the same yet not everyone can express so superbly. I love to use the word catacomb in my poems. Kudos.
