My Demons Have Died

Markthetabor

Cheer my friends!

Pay homage to my demons.

Who chose to live one day too long.

Break the bread-

And pour the beer!

We should drink until we die,

so that we don’t have to see the end.

Only then should we live in peace,

And not with an entity of fear.

To resemble a true love of these monsters,

I shall sing a song.

One of love-

And acceptance.

Values that only these organizers of terror,

Could have taught me.

My good nature did not win the battle,

and my moral structure did not weaken them.

This battle was designed to be eternal,

but they had won.

I found that they had a goal,

And began to side with them.

This action slaughtered the soul-

That I had been born with,

and replaced it with one of purpose.

Accomplished,

my demons were now debtors to themselves-

And chose to die.

    Glad to hear it!
Oohhh, we don't want demons. Not today, not any day, thank you!
But I see what you mean - some problems or difficulties now removed.
