Lost & Found (+1)

Kurt Philip Behm

The bridge to belief

spans a river of doubt

Whose rapids are raging,

whose questions cry out

Each step that I’ve taken,

each tread that I cross

Brings me much closer

—to what I once lost

Herein & Hereafter

Politics governs our

temporal lives

Religion conscripting

eternity’s prize

Together they’ve killed

more than famine and war

A plague that still haunts us

—to shun and deplore

I'm sure you don't need or want any commentary from me or even anyone else; but still I want to thank you for, in particular, Herein & Hereafter above.
