This love of ours is barely true
You don’t know me. I don’t know you.
We only met a week ago
So, let’s not rush head over heels
Let's lie a while. See how it feels.
Let’s give love some time to grow.
Right now though “Love” is how it feels
There’s so much love we need to share
Your place or my place? I don’t care.
Who wins? Who loses? Who’s on top?
It’s not a game and we're not props
Open your heart. Let it reveal.
If this is love, it must be real.
Right now though, ‘Love” is how it feels.
Let's not push it to a climax
Let’s have fun along the way
Let's try some things we’ve never tried
Let no desires be denied
Long before this love dies
Long before it turns to lies
Let’s take our time. Enjoy the ride
Let’s live to love another day
Somewhere in the future
we’ll be looking back
on days when I explained
and nights when you unpacked.
We learned to love, to hurt and heal
to mend our hearts through each ordeal.
Right now though, "Love” is how it feels.
Together now, in love eternal
as years drift by, you are the one.
In morning’s heat or love nocturnal
It seems as though we’ve just begun.
The same desire, the same appeal
tells us that our love is real
Always and forever, "Love" is how it feels
