Becoming...Human – The Last For 2020

Nafis Light

I have no idea for the next post...as in for today,
and I am truly shocked that the next thing
that came to me...is that this post is the final one
for 2020...and I am truly sorry that it has to be this way.

The Video is a tribute to that fictional character called Mordred
who was initially a good character
but he turned dark after he was betrayed and his beloved was killed
out of injustice...but the goodness in him, is a form of wonder.

The song talks on not giving up
and about keep on fighting
and I will do that
and I will find other ways to do good...if not through writing.

  • Comment from author about the poem: Like what I said in the poem, I have no idea but that is what flowed through me. I am sure that I will come back in the next year. I really thought that I would keep on posting daily again, but it seems like on other sites...it will be the same. Maybe I will be doing some self-reflecting on an extreme level or self-organizing stuff...but whatever it is, I want to keep on posting again... ...because honestly, these postings are what give me hope and desire to do more good. We all need something to hold onto. The postings...MPS, is one of them for me.

first and foremost: write for yourself,
let your words be a conversation between you and the person you wish to be, speak of dreams as easily as your whims, cherish each line for all its worth - learn to like the voice your words give volume to,
we look forward to your next post and apologise: if our ignorance has made you feel unappreciated or unheard, forgive us we are but flawed human frailty - striving for betterment through this thing we love, called Poetry
