Doubts

Birddie Jane

I have this uneasy feeling

I don't want it to be true

I trust you

I really do

But I can't help but worry

What are you doing when I'm not home

Why were the doors all locked

When I came home last night

Not the front door

But the bedroom door

I know I'm not what you want

Trying really hard to make it work

I gave up trying toake it more

I hope I'm wrong

You wouldn't do that to someone

You wouldn't do that to me

Right?

But it keeps me up at night

This uneasy feeling

Terrible theme to be living under. If this was really happening you'd have to say 'where's your self respect? Is living like that all you think you're worth?'
Thank goodness it's only a poem.

A very thought provoking post from you.

Thank you, unfortunately it's all truth

Well, your future belongs to you not to him.
