The stars in the cold sky are fall down
Swirling, floating, quietly
slowing painting the peaceful town
with clean, white snowflakes placed delicately.
Changing colour in Christmas dangling lights
Fire humming, shutting out the cold.
Stockings, flicking on warm walls filled with delights.
Family gathered to relive memories from the old.
Crispy turkey golden brown, ready to eat,
On a table, decorated with green and red crackers.
Children rushing through ever-green branches to their seat,
over Christmas dinner with tasteful platers
It is Christmas, so let your inner child out,
by relighting the candle in your frozen heart.
Let people in. Giving, is what Christmas is about
happiness, innocent, family will never fall apart.
Christmas time, a recreation of trust.
Reconnection of strong hope
in the Christmas's calming and lovely must.
But there is no time to mope.
