L. B. Mek

mea Fiammetta

she, never heel-toes

or

relevé’s at en pointe

she’s all flat shoes, towering: with her 5ft - of unmovable,

trampling

over

mountainous

obstacles

like nature made her will - able: to bend all to her every whim,

    Good write LB.

Ah!, ... so you've met the mother-in-law then.

    • L. B. Mek

lmao, had me nearly in tears, so funny, I have no idea why this is instantaneously relatable, when it's something I could have never considered if you hadn't mentioned it, brilliantly witty! (yes, I have met a few in my time)
rare to have such a healthy dose of laughter, early in the day: thank you Dusk

Beautifully written and elegantly constructed - a great write.

well, if you liked it, then I must have lucked out and scribbled something creative for a change, always humbling to get recognition from someone of your calibre Michael, thank you

You're too generous and well deserving of my comment.

There is a lot of meaning in these few words, L.B. Well penned!

thanks Jerry, I'm always surprised at how accepting and supportive our MPS community is to the diverse write's we all post

Good words Mek, an obviously very powerful lady.

yeah Andy, I think we have all come across such determined individuals for whom the usual constraints of reality's limitations - seemingly: has no impact and they've accumulated this aura of invincibility from all the struggles they've overcome, kinda more awesome when its exemplified by the lady's in our lives, lol
                thanks for support my friend

ballet is not for the fainthearted is it my friend ..
I hear it has its origins in some obscure marital art ......
... Be proud of this un, I know I would be .. and I'm sure I like it even more each time I read it through....................................... Neville

sadly, I have never experienced a ballet performance in-person
but there's something about their straight-backed stance - at all times,
that had me liken it to the enforced heel-toe routine of those deathly high heels, lol
I will admit, I'm a little proud I had this write within me - if this is the trade-in for a bourgeoning wisdom's creaking bones, I'll gladly accept,
thanks for the encouraging comment my friend
