the tropic of capricorn

tylerintheclouds

is it how you treat me to turn out?

to have the burden to forgive and the eager to please you?

and if it’s not what you crave then send me on my way

but the golden key i get to keep

just remember that

let the words sink in

i stare from your eyes to your lips to your chin

i am a capricorn and you know what they say about them

did you picture me like another?

another girl you’d pick up at the bus stop

love her and leave her

but leave her with the burden to forgive and the eager to please you

you will never be mine but i will be yours

scarlett rose red skies

how dare you enter my bed without saying goodnight

i shouldn’t blame you but i will

you stole the key of gold i was supposed to keep

i remember you are a scorpio and you know what they say about them

i remember i am a capricorn and i will no longer pretend

the constellation

12 stars

stop pulling me into your orbit

you are my black hole but i will not be yours

and if you dream of me to be

shut those feelings away with the key

the golden key

did you do the same with the girl at the bus stop?

does she still please you with the burden?

this thought i don’t hold onto for long

i let it go, you let me go, i let us go

but this was all going to happen

because as i remember

i am a capricorn and you know what they say about them

i am a capricorn and i will no longer pretend

i am a capricorn and your scorpio fire has come to an end
