i came to a conclusion one may evening
that all hearts are valuable
but i dont wish to go bankrupt over yours
ruby red diamonds may run deep through your bloodstream
circulating the most lavish luxuries in time
but my body is no pawn shop
and my emotions can’t be traded like poker chips in the heat of the vegas lights
you were born to win but i was born to shine
projecting myself into the core of the earth
and watch my diamond reflect in the waters on the shore

This is truly beautiful.
'you were born to win, but I
was born to shine
projecting myself
into the core of the earth
and watch my diamond, reflect
in the waters, on the shore'
