Signs - Four

I would Love...to see the end
of something
because it marks a new beginning
a new chapter...even for me.

 

A door that was once open
is now closed
and things that were broken
are mended and renewed
for another day
so I get to say
I LOVE TO LIVE
I LOVE TO GIVE
BUT I WOULD NOT EXPECT ANYTHING
AND THAT INCLUDES EVERYTHING.

 

It is only to do with expectations
so just keep giving and...
...that is it
and not look back including opening my hand.

 

Honestly, I’ve been through enough with people
to want to hope for a deeper connection
but it is not mutual...like family
where they would always come back together...to me.

 

Everyone gets to go whichever direction that they want to
but not everything goes both ways
even when I have been hoping for so many days;
Relations that are brief...are all that I get.

 

I just...wish...for
repeatedly...like before.
