Our family pet

heatherbee

Could it be the fur that's best, the feel is warm upon your chest.

The purring too it's in your ear you dont even have to be so near.

Your feeling down you have a cry but then your pet is near by.

she senses you would love a cuddle so here she is in one fur ball huddle.

You dont even mind the fur that climbs upon your clothes

Not when you see her little wet pink nose.

She stretches and she paws on you and looks so very cute.

You know that she will take your space the minute that your out.

And then she glare's and stare's at you giving you such a pout.

This is my throne this is my home I do welcome you in.

But wheres my treats, iv left yours there a mouse upon your bed.

And if you could remove it please I'd like to rest my head.

I sleep at dawn awake all night a hunting I must go, iv mice to catch and things too scratch a cats life it is said.

But now I wish to head back home and lay my weary head.

Its breakfast time something fishy i do hope its a trout.

Are maybe a big bowl of milk I'd lap up with my tongue so I could bring it up again with fur balls oh what fun

I love my home it warm and nice and somehow always filled with mice.

Theres treats galore and cuddles too i know what I will do for you.

I will snuggle in and make my noise I know you love to hear especially when I do it close right up into your ear.

We've had cats ourselves. Now we see a neighbour's cat. We got told off for feeding it. Oops! It seems to do a low hum rather a loud purr! lol. You'll be OK with a cat, or dog, or both, around.

More a cat person been great company right now. And as for your neighbours cat visiting maybe it's a break of lockdown rules no visitors lol.
