Poem, Ode to the Pain

AwHec8

Blessed is the pain.

That brings the rain.

Blessed is the pain.

That brings the stain!

Blessed is the pain.

Coming from every nerve.

Blessed is the pain.

Cause its what I deserve!

Blessed is the pain.

In the day or the night.

Blessed is the pain.

In all of my plight!

Blessed is the pain.

When it forces me awake.

Blessed is the pain.

When it causes me to brake!

Blessed is the pain.

That allows for growth.

Blessed is the pain.

That allows a troth!

Blessed is the pain.

For its brevity.

Blessed is the pain.

For as it passes, ecstasy!

Blessed is the Lord.

Who I seek in this accord.

Blessed is the Lord.

Who I am onboard!

Blessed is the Lord.

Who in all this death & grief.

Blessed is the Lord.

Who brings us so much relief.

Blessed is the Lord.

Who is our leitmotif.

Blessed is the Lord.

Blessed is my Savior, my #1 Reward!

  • Comment from author about the poem: After more than a week's worth of this unholy pain that seemed to linger far too long, I am in relief. (I think I threw my back out again, as it wasn't liking my movement too much). So Thank You Yeshua. Oh and the word troth is not a misspelled word, neither is leitmotif, so do look them up to see the real meaning, or don't. Don Oh and Happy Birthday to me! Yay. Freaking 62, who knew you could live this long in the USA without much Healthcare because of the all in on the money approach in this new Babylon called the United States. The freaking corporate profit motive of "Hooray for me & to Hell with everyone else!" 🤷‍♂️

Why Thank You Doggerel Dave. Don
Oh and please forgive my senility as it runs in the family. Anyway I am actually 63 and it took a minute for that to register as I am stuck in 2020! Goddammit.
Help someone get me out of this year! I want to go to 2021 and be free to venture out of my house. LOL 🤣

        Good luck Don.
