Your tree deserves to grow

Chick

I've lost myself

Trying to save someone else

I have fallen

So far from my tree

When I was so high

But now I'm on the dirt

Collecting dust

Laying there to rot

Until I simply just rot to death

All because I couldn't be strong enough to stay on the tree

All because I let someone tear me off my tree

Careful.... there's always someone looking for a fallen apple hoping to bake a pie on the cheap.

....but, prince in frogs clothing, he could be you saviour.

It's not about falling down, it's about getting up again! 🙂

I too, cling to whatever perch my life grants me to rest upon, from all the toiling and wishful planning, while other's - seemingly unaware of what promise gravity - awaits to greet with, simply rush-on by - lost: in their dreams of pinnacle vantages...
a contemplative write, wonderfully worded dear Poet
