We Just Might...Fall

Nafis Light

I wouldn’t know...exactly how to say this
but in relation to the tribute video above;
It is something strange but also in relation to Love;
There is this urge
a very sudden one deep inside
and it is digging its way through
to tell something directly to you.

It is that...in life, every single day;
In everything that we do,
There will always be risks
and the possibility that things would go right or wrong
and who are we to say?
Is saying ‘yes’ or ‘no’ would make things come true?
Like playing a game and wanting the dice to be like...this
but then the radio gets broken and the background music plays a different song.

Anything could possibly go in the way that we do not expect
and what we want...we might not get,
So, somehow somewhat...let’s just remember back
the good times...just to tell us that...there will be no regret.

    very direct, an insightful and engaging read of life's uncontrollable factors, with a reassuring message that however impactful these unexpected elements may be: they still, don't get to decide how we choose to face the obstacles in our lives..
    pragmatic realism, is hard to confront head-on and put in practise, that's why most of us choose fantasy's escapes, but still - like you say, important part: is minimising our regrets, each step of the way
